As co-founder of R-Evolution and consultant for Finding Your Well, Cardum is working with her husband, Dr. Ade', to restore global wellness to individuals, organizations and peoples of the Diaspora.

As former CEO of a peer run mental wellness organization, Cardum promotes whole person centered program models and trainings which emphasize an engagement philosophy focused on resiliency, recovery and healthy lifestyle choices. What inspires her most about such an approach is that it allows those in need to experience a process that is non-judgemental, encourages empathetic responsiveness and places emphasis on an integrated approach. Based on the premise that emotional distress can be potentially transformative, she believes that recovery from trauma is possible.

Cardum also served as a program manager for a Bay Area nonprofit, successfully managing five innovative community health focused programs bringing healing and education to the communities they serve. As a wellness campaign manager for Alameda County, she effectively maintained a diverse campaign steering committee and subcommittees - composed of consumers, providers, family members and Behavioral Health Care Services staff. These committees promoted wellness from a holistic perspective and a desire to reduce stigma by spreading awareness of mental health issues from a strength-based perspective.

As Co-Founder of the Bay Area Mandala Project, she engaged with consumers, family members and mental health and medical professionals holding expertise in psychiatric crises, spiritual emergencies, peer support, and wellness and recovery support services.

With a Master’s degree in Culture and Spirituality, Cardum has studied and experienced various faith traditions and worked as a wellness consultant and retreat facilitator in the Bay Area for over 30 years.  While engaging in several programs around the country, she has educated children and adults on a more balanced way of living. She uses her lived experience and artwork to create compassionate approaches to mental wellness.
