These authentic Batakari smocks are made in Ghana. Expertly crafted thick woven fabric with embroidered Adinkra designs on back. They are worn by kings in the three northern regions. The smock is made of hand-loomed strips, created by a mixture of dyed and undyed cotton loom. The strips are sewn together by hand or machine giving the smock a plaid appearance. These smocks have embroidery on both the neckline and pockets. Fits medium to large.
